Last Will and Testament of
Solomon I. Pontius of Donegal Township,
Butler County, OH

In the name of
God Amen.
I Solomon
Pontius of Donegal Township, Butler County, and State of Pa, do make
and publish this my last will and testament in manner following.
Item. I give
devise and bequeath to my son John W. Pontius fifty six acres of
land bounded by lands of Ames Reep, McCrea heirs and Ort heirs to
him his heirs and assigns forever.
Item. I give
devise and bequeath to my son S.I. Pontius the balance of my farm
bounded by lands of Fredrick Brothers on the west by G. Pontius and
north by M. Wiles containing one hundred and fifty three acres to
him his heirs forever.
Item. I give
devise and bequeath to my daughter Mary Cathrine Daubenspeck the
sixty three acres of land bounded by lands of John Wolford and
Joseph Vensel heirs and Clymer heirs known as part the of the Dennis
McKeever farm to her and her heirs forever.
Item. My
household furniture I give to S.I.
Item. All money
coming to me by note or otherwise after my funeral expenses are paid
shall be equally divided between my three children above named and
also the 1/8 oil of either tract shall be sold by the executor named
and equally divided.
Item. To the
three heirs of my daughter Caroline Sipe deceased I gave her share
of my estate in my lifetime in full.
Item. I
nominate and appoint S.I. Pontius Executor of this my last will and
testament.

whereof, I set my hand and seal this 27th day of June A.D
1911.
